In short: MathSprint collects nothing.
MathSprint is an independent, free educational app made by an individual developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any contest-organizing body.
None. MathSprint does not request, collect, transmit, or have access to any personal information.
On first launch, the app asks for a name (or lets you continue as "Guest"). This is a self-chosen label, not a verified identity — students can enter any name or nickname they like, and there is no requirement that it be their legal name. It is:
Because MathSprint is intended for children as young as 4, we recommend a parent or teacher help enter this name if the student can't type it themselves — the app never asks for anything beyond this single field.
Completing a timed mock exam saves a score, date, and correct/incorrect/skipped breakdown locally, so you can review past attempts. This history never leaves your device, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
MathSprint is designed for children roughly ages 4 through 14 practicing school-level maths. This age range is a deliberate part of the app's design — the layout, question difficulty, and interaction model are built with young children specifically in mind, not just adapted from a general-audience app.
Because the app collects no personal information (the optional name field is a self-chosen, unverified label stored only on-device — see Section 3), transmits no data over any network, and contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind, MathSprint does not process children's personal data in a way that triggers obligations under laws such as the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or the EU/UK GDPR's provisions on children's data (GDPR Article 8 and equivalents) — those laws govern the collection and processing of data by an app's operator, and MathSprint's operator never receives any data at all.
If you are a parent, teacher, or guardian with questions about how a specific device or classroom uses MathSprint, see Section 8 for contact details.
None beyond what Android grants automatically to any installed app. MathSprint does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or internet permissions.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — the "Last updated" date above will change, and the new terms will be described here before they take effect.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the developer at the contact email listed on MathSprint's Play Store listing page.
